Church History
About 12 people gathered in 1937 and started tent meetings in the Hollywood area of Memphis, TN.

1965-2000 Rapid Growth
Under J.D. Middlebrook's pastorship Raleigh Assembly grew in attendance from 140 to over 1000. In 1971, a new sanctuary was built seating 700. Our present sanctuary seating 2500 was built in 1985.

2000 Missions Contributions
Raleigh Assembly Of God became
one of the great missions churches in
our fellowship with world missions
giving topping $350,000 in 2000.

An Educational Wing Sanctuary 1975 was added in 1974, followed by an office wing in 1975. Then in 1976, we purchased five more acres to build our current Family Life Center.
